This is the length of time over which you expect to hold the investment. This field can be specified in either months or years.

Results

After inputting the above fields, you can click on the Calculate ROI button. This will calculate the gain or loss on the investment, the ROI in percentage terms, and the annualized ROI. The results will display the total gain or loss on your investment. A positive number represents a gain and a negative number represents a loss. The Return on Investment in percentage terms. This is calculated as the gain or loss divided by the initial investment, multiplied by 100. Annualized ROI: The average annual return over the specified time horizon, presented in percentage terms.
